It is understood that at the time of sale this dog is a good representative of its breed and is suited as a companion and/or obedience dog. Beginning training classes are recommended to insure a good relationship with the dog. It is also recommended that the dog be taken to the veterinarian within 48 hours of the time of purchase to certify its good health(all vet costs will be the buyers responsibility). In the event that the dog is not considered healthy at that time, a full refund will be provided as long as the dog is returned immediately. If within one week of purchase the buyer decides to return the dog for any other reason, all but $100.00 of the purchase price will be refunded, so as to defray expenses.
The dog is expected to take up to two weeks, depending on age and temperment, before it becomes familiar with its new surroundings. It is perfectly natural if it chooses not to eat/drink or be sociable for a few days. The dog is guarenteed to be free of any hereditary defects (eyes, thyroid, vwd hips) which develope to the extent of rendering the dog unsuitable as a pet up to the age of twelve months, hips guarenteed to the age of 2 years.
Medical proof of any claim must be provided to seller's veterinarian. At that time, a replacement dog of pet quality will be given when one becomes available.
The buyer agrees to spay or neuter this animal within three months of purchase, if not already done before sale. Buyer will provide proof of spay or neuter to the seller at that time. The buyer understands that this dog is not intended for breeding and will be sold on a limited registration. In the event this dog is found abused, neglected, or bred the seller reserves the right to take immediate repossession of the dog.
It is also understood that the above dog will be registered by the new owners though the AKC with the Twin Acres prefix on its registered name.
If buyer cannot keep above dog at any point, seller reserves the right to be notified ahead of time and given first option or provide temporary home until seller can find another suitable home. At which time all but 100.00 will be refunded as soon as dog is sold.
If any of the terms of this contract are not met, Seller reserves the right to take immediete repossession of the dog.
